Topaz Systems Limited Warranty
Topaz Systems warrants Gem-series products for a period of three (3) years and Lite-series, LinkGem, IDGem, and MSR products for a period of one (1) year, from the date of original purchase against any defect arising due to faulty materials or workmanship. Accordingly any defective item will be repaired or replaced at Topaz’s option upon return to the factory, with a valid Topaz RMA number and incoming freight, duty, taxes, and insurance pre-paid; and provided that the defect has not been caused by wear, neglect, misuse or accident abuse, or any other cause not resulting directly from faulty materials or workmanship; and provided that proof of purchase is supplied.
This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not assignable or transferable.
This warranty is made in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied; including but not limited to the implied warranty of merchantability, the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, any implied warranty arising out of a course of dealing or of performance, custom or usage of trade except of title, or patent infringement.
Topaz Systems Renewable Warranty
The Topaz solution to warranty extensions is the unique & creative Renewable Warranty.
A non-working unit outside its initial warranty period can, for a flat-fee based on the the original list price of the model, be repaired, cosmetically refurbished and be given a new 1-year warranty. Perhaps the best part of this program is that it only needs to apply to non-working units outside the initial warranty and not to all the units the customer owns, thereby providing all the benefits of protection and coverage but at a substantially reduced cost.
A set price for repairs .......a new 1-year warranty .......on only the pads that need it!
